All East Aurora D131 Students Will Receive Free Meals This School Year
Every student is eligible for free breakfast and lunch this school year. No fees or applications are required.
AURORA, IL — All East Aurora School District 131 students will receive free meals this school year, administrators announced Wednesday.
During the 2025-26 school year, students won't have to worry about eating breakfast at home or packing a lunch — the district will provide both every school day.
"This opportunity is made possible through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a program under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs," District 131 officials wrote in a news release. "CEP allows schools to serve meals at no charge to all enrolled students, regardless of household income."
