Aurora Teacher Named Chicago Bears Classroom Legend
A teacher at Rollins Elementary School was recognized for going above and beyond for her students.

AURORA, IL — Congratulations to Ms. Jamie Yarbrough, fifth-grade teacher at Rollins Elementary, who was recognized as a Chicago Bears Classroom Legend at this past Sunday’s game at Soldier Field!
Alongside their partner CDW, the Chicago Bears launched the Classroom Legends program to honor educators across Chicagoland who go above and beyond for their students. Each honoree is recognized at a Bears game and receives a $1,000 donation for their classroom.

Ms. Yarbrough was nominated by her family and teaching partner, who shared her unwavering commitment to her students and passion for teaching. She was celebrated on the field and the big screen during Sunday’s game and proudly represented Rollins Elementary and East Aurora School District 131.
Reflecting on the honor, Ms. Yarbrough shared: “I have been a Chicago Bears and football fan since a very young age and earning the title of Classroom Legend from the Chicago Bears is an absolutely incredible honor. This title is more than just an award to me; it’s a profound affirmation that I am living my purpose and am exactly where I’m meant to be. It beautifully underscores the powerful connection between the structured, goal-driven world of a sports team and the equally dynamic and purposeful environment of my classroom.
