Black Friday At Chicago Premium Outlets: Mall Hours, Road Closures

AURORA, IL — With Black Friday just a few days away, Aurora police announcing expected road closures around the Chicago Premium Outlets.

The outlet mall, located off Interstate 88 on Aurora's northwest side, will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and will open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

Ahead of the hectic shopping day, Aurora police said they anticipate "significant traffic delays" on surrounding roads. To combat it, the following roads will be closed beginning at 4 a.m. until about 7 p.m. Friday:

• Corporate Boulevard between Farnsworth Avenue and Church Road (Businesses can be accessed from Church Road)
• Bilter Road between Church Avenue and Farnsworth Avenue

Temporary closures may occur on these roads:

• Southbound Farnsworth Avenue between Butterfield Road (IL-56) and Bilter Road
• Eastbound Bilter Road from Farnsworth Avenue

"We recommend the public seek alternative routes that avoid these areas on Friday, November 29th, unless you are specifically traveling to the Outlet Mall," officials wrote in a news release.

Police said they will share real-time updates about closures on the Aurora Police Department's Facebook page.

Chicago Premium Outlets will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
