Church Road Access From Indian Trail Road To Close For Construction
The closure will help in completing the ongoing construction through the Indian Trail Road and Church Road intersection, officials said.
AURORA, IL — North and south access to Church Road from Indian Trail Road will be shut down beginning Friday due to ongoing construction, Aurora officials said.
A two-week closure is anticipated as work through the intersection nears completion, officials said Thursday.
Indian Trail Road, Mitchell Road and High Street will remain open during construction.

North Church Road detour on eastbound Indian Trail Road

- From Indian Trail Road, turn left on Mitchell Road
- From Mitchell Road, turn right on Konen Avenue/Schomer Road
- Continue on Schomer Road
- End Detour at Church Road
South Church Road detour on eastbound Indian Trail Road
- From Indian Trail Road, turn right on Aurora Avenue (also known as Route 25)
- From Aurora Avenue, turn left on Forest Avenue
- From Forest Avenue, turn left on Sheridan Street
- Continue on Sheridan Street until the Church Road/Scheffer Road intersection
- End Detour at Church Road
North Church Road detour on westbound Indian Trail Road
- From Indian Trail Road, turn right on Farnsworth Avenue
- From Farnsworth Avenue, turn left on Reckinger Road
- Continue on Reckinger Road
- End Detour at Church Road
South Church Road detour on westbound Indian Trail Road
- From Indian Trail Road, turn left on Farnsworth Avenue
- From Farnsworth Avenue, turn right on Scheffer Road
- Continue on Scheffer Road until Church Road/Sheridan Road intersection
- End Detour at Church Road
