The students and teacher discussed how they helped the Veterans Smile not-for-profit organization with Poppy Art pieces they created.
AURORA, IL — East Aurora High School Art Students Alexandra Gomez and Kimberly Garcia and Art Teacher Nicole Yingst were featured on Fox 32’s “Good Day Chicago” morning news program on May 5, 2025 to share their story about how they help the Veterans Smile not-for-profit organization with the beautiful Poppy Art pieces they create. The Veterans Smile organization provides critical dental care for our veterans that is not covered by the Veterans Affairs Association.
