Fall Food Truck Festival Planned In Aurora After Success Of Summer Event

AURORA, IL — Aurora is hosting a food truck festival Friday, bringing more than 30 vendors on wheels to Benton Street.

A diverse range of culinary offerings will be available from 5-9 p.m. on Benton Street between River Street and Broadway. Thousands, from Aurora and beyond, are expected to participate, city officials said.

It's the second food truck festival planned this year, following the success of one held in July.

"We are very excited to bring a diverse collection of top-tier food trucks to this year’s Fall Food Truck Festival," Community Events Coordinator Christina DiCristofano said in a statement. "With over 30 trucks set to come out, plus a DJ and no admission fee, we are proud to provide everyone with an opportunity to visit Aurora and enjoy all that the city has to offer."

Family-friendly activities planned during the festival include fast painting, balloon animals and caricature artists.
