Letters To Santa: Aurora Girl Asks For Mom, Sisters To Be Happy

Zoey, 9, says she isn't asking for much but wants some clothes and for her mom and sisters to be happy after her grandfather's death.

AURORA, IL — Writing a letter to Santa is a treasured tradition for many Aurora families. They’re a lens into the magic of the holiday season through the eyes of a child.

We’ve partnered with T-Mobile so we can all share in their joy. This letter, submitted by Marissa Stevens in Aurora, was written by 9-year-old Zoey:

“Dear Santa, This year I am not asking for much as I do not need much. I would like a Barbie, some new clothes and for my sisters and mom to be happy again. They have been so sad since my grandpa died that I do not want much for myself but instead, I would rather you make them happy again. That is all I am asking for this year and I have been a good girl. Sincerely, Zoey”

Please note: Your (child’s) letter may be shared with your community to help spread holiday cheer. All fulfillment requests need to be routed separately to the North Pole and/or Santa himself. In other words, these letters are just for fun: Santa won’t be checking the lists on Patch.
