Local Architecture Firm Honored as Outstanding Mid-Size Firm

Kluber Architects + Engineers, a full-service architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Aurora, has been awarded the prestigious Outstanding Mid-Size Firm Award by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Northeast Illinois Chapter. The accolade recognizes Kluber’s leadership, dedication, and innovation in both its professional body of work and its internal culture.

The AIA honors firms with this award when they demonstrate excellence in their design and client service, as well as their dedication to team development. Kluber stood out for its holistic design approach, unique work culture, and civic responsibility. Providing services in not only architecture, but mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering, Kluber places an emphasis on long-term value and relationship building.

Kluber has worked on a variety of notable local projects, ranging from the Old Copley Hospital Redevelopment, now known as Bloomhaven, as well as South Elgin’s new Police Department, the City of Aurora’s new Public Works Facility, and more.

In addition to being recognized with a firm award, two individuals from their team have also been honored with awards. Clayton Haldeman, Senior Technical Architect at Kluber, was honored with the AIA Northeast Illinois’ Mentor Award. Alongside Clayton, Parnell Tesoro, Architectural Designer, was honored with their Marvel Award.
