'Local Criminal Matter' Prompts Large Police Presence In Aurora: PD
Passersby should avoid the area while Aurora police conduct an investigation, officials said.

AURORA, IL — A large police presence Tuesday morning at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and South State Street is a result of a "local criminal matter," Aurora police said.
There is no ongoing threat to the public, but officials asked passersby to stay away from the area and use alternate routes as the investigation continues, the Aurora Police Department said in an alert at 9:49 a.m.
