The festival features short films by Midwest directors as well as trolley rides, brunch and an afterparty.

AURORA, IL — The Midwest Film Festival, based in Chicago, is bringing its "Midwest Roadshow" to Aurora on Saturday.
Each year, the Midwest Film Festival takes its programming on the road to a new Midwest city, and this summer, it's collaborating with the City of Lights Film Festival to bring its curated short film program, along with filmmaker Q-and-As, to Copley Theatre, 8 E. Galena Blvd.
The short films will span genres including satire, documentary and animation.
