New Principal Named At McCleery Elementary School
Within District 129, she has previously worked as assistant principal of Hill Elementary School and principal of Freeman Elementary School.

AURORA, IL — A new principal has been appointed to helm McCleery Elementary School.
The West Aurora School District 129 Board of Education approved Crystal Dvorak as principal during its regular meeting May 19.
Dvorak's previous roles within District 129 include assistant principal of Hill Elementary School and principal of Freeman Elementary School.

"I am incredibly excited and honored to serve as McCleery's next principal," Dvorak said in a statement. "I look forward to partnering with the amazing staff, students, and families."
Dvorak comes into the role with more than a decade of administrative experience, including serving as principal of Marseilles Elementary School in Marseilles and assistant principal of Grand Reserve Elementary School in Yorkville. She has experience overseeing building-level teams, coordinating student support services, managing school operations and supporting staff development.

In a news release, District 129 said Dvorak has contributed to district-wide initiatives through her work on the Elementary Instructional Minutes Committee and participation in contract negotiations with the district's office professionals bargaining unit.
Dvorak has a bachelor's degree in education from Northern Illinois University, a master's degree in teaching and leadership from St. Xavier University and another master's in education leadership from Benedictine University.
