Phillips Park Dog Park Will Be Temporarily Closed Thursday
The dog park will undergo routine cleanup for the majority of the day, city officials said.
AURORA, IL — Phillips Park Dog Park in Aurora will be temporarily closed Thursday, officials said Wednesday.
The park, located at 1044 Gates St., will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. while staff perform a thorough seasonal cleanup of the space. Maintenance includes weeding and conducting a routine equipment review.
"The safety of our dogs — and their people — is our top priority," officials said in a Facebook post. "Thank you for your patience and understanding!"
