Stolp Island Block Party Returns For August First Fridays Event
More than 30 downtown Aurora businesses are slated to participate in the Stolp Island Block Party.
AURORA, IL — The Stolp Island Block Party is returning this week as part of the monthly First Fridays celebration in downtown Aurora.
Nestled between Galena Boulevard and Downer Place on Stolp Avenue, the block party, hosted by the Aurora Regional Economic Alliance, will bring together more than 30 businesses for "a feast for the senses."
The block party, happening from 5-9 p.m., is coinciding with the downtown-wide August First Fridays event, when many galleries, boutiques, cafes and shops stay open late and offer special events and discounts.
