AURORA, IL — A woman was hospitalized as a precaution Wednesday morning after she was involved in a car crash at the intersection of Eola Road and Liberty Street, Aurora police said.

A silver Jeep Compass and a gold Saturn sedan collided at about 7:08 a.m. at the intersection. The Jeep was westbound on Liberty Street, the Saturn eastbound, when the SUV began to make a left turn and hit the sedan, spokesperson Jim Levicki told Patch.

The Jeep driver reported chest pain and was evaluated by Aurora Fire Department paramedics, who then took her to a local hospital as a precaution. At the time, her condition appeared stable, Levicki said.
