Police said they will not accept any sharps and needles, IV bags, thermometers, illegal substances, DEA-controlled drugs, bloody or infectious waste, empty containers or inhalers.

In addition to medication, police will also collect vape pens and other e-cigarette devices as long as the batteries are removed. If they can't be taken out, officials said people should look into large electronic chain stores that may accept them for proper disposal.
