Free Health, Speech Assessments Offered At WellBatavia Festival
WellBatavia's goal is to make health resources and knowledge accessible to everyone.
BATAVIA, IL — Free prevention health checks and resources are on the docket as part of the upcoming WellBatavia Festival.
The festival will take place from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Batavia City Hall.
This year, organizers are offering free health assessments for adults and free speech assessments for children. All event-goers have to do is sign up so the team can prepare for the number of participants and their ages.

The event started as the Green Fair on the Fox as a way to raise awareness and promote environmentally conscious living but has since expanded to raise awareness on all factors that impact the community's health and happiness.
"Our work centers on the reduction of preventable diseases, the management of current health conditions and the preservation and promotion of our community's environment and green spaces," Joe King, owner of Physical Therapy Advantage, wrote to Batavia Patch in an email.
