See When Hall Quarry Beach Will Open For New Summer Season
Hall Quarry Beach will be open daily this summer, including in the evening some days.

BATAVIA, IL — Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, and Batavia is celebrating with Hall Quarry Beach opening for the 2024 season.
The Quarry, at 400 S. Water St., is set to open May 25.
For beachgoers' safety, the city once again contracted Andy Frain Services to station crossing guards at the intersection of Route 31 and Union Avenue.

The Batavia Park District, which runs the beach, will host special events and swim lessons throughout the summer. The Wacky Water Olympics will kick off events from 12:30-4 p.m. June 10. The new Tween Eras Night will be held June 13, Christmas in July with Santa is planned for July 19, and the So Long Summer Swim will happen Aug. 9.
Hall Quarry Beach hours will be from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Season pass holders can access the beach at 11:30 a.m. each day, and twilight hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Admission costs $10 for Batavia residents and $15 for nonresidents. During twilight hours, entry costs $5 for residents and $7 for nonresidents.
Season passes will be available for purchase online, at the Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St., or at the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St.
