The Edna White Community Garden hosts Won Kim’s “Asian Night Market” Thursday, September 18th beginning at 6 p.m. and featuring Asian vendors showcasing exotic food offerings, merchandise and original artworks.

“These after-sunset shopping opportunities are perfect for enjoying a garden setting in the cool of the day, trying new food options and enjoying a beverage,” said Kathy Figel, director of the Edna White Garden, located at 1850 W. Monterey Avenue in Morgan Park. “We’re excited to introduce this trending experience in our community.”

The work of artist and chef Kim has been displayed throughout Beverly/Morgan Park and Bridgeport, where he recently opened up Kimski, a Korean/Polish Restaurant. Through his connections in the culinary and arts industry, he was able to solicit the interest of peers to join the Asian Night Market at Edna White Garden.
