Beverly will soon be home to a new Italian beef eatery if things continue to move forward for Buona Beef.
The fast-growing chain was given approval for its plans to build new driveways on the property located at 106th and Western Avenue, said Ald. Matt O'Shea. Buona Beef would fill several vacancies where a florist and muffler shop previously operated.
Buona Beef was founded in 1981 and currently operates 14 locations, many in the south and west suburbs of Chicago. The menu features their signature Italian beef sandwich, burgers and chicken sandwiches.
There is not yet a definitive start date for the project.
