Don't Worry About Those Roaming Horses in Mt. Greenwood

Your daily glance at what folks are talking about today.

If you noticed horses roaming freely in the field near 115th and Pulaski, fear not, they are supposed to be there.

It's no secret that the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, 3857 W. 111th St., houses a wide variety of farm animals on its grounds. However, residents have grown accostomed to the animals being kept closer to the school's barn near 111th Street.

For the next few weeks horses will be left at pasture in the field along 115th Street. The new pasture space will give the school time to winterize their stables and save on hay as they prepare for winter, according to the program's Facebook page

The horses are expected to use the pasture for the next couple of weeks.
