'I Don't Want to Do Any Jail Time,' Says Serial Stowaway. But Guess What?
She was arrested again. Marilyn Hartman arrested for trespassing at O'Hare Airport.
Serial stowaway Marilyn Hartman of Chicago was found trespassing at O’Hare International Airport Wednesday and was arrested. She’s now charged with a felony count of violating probation and a misdemeanor count of trespassing on state land.
Hartman, 64, was arrested twice in July 2015 – at O’Hare and Midway Airport – in a period of two days. She has a long history of such airport encounters, including some successful stowaway adventures.
“Even smart people do stupid things,” she told reporters after she was released from jail last summer. “I don’t want to do any jail time.”
