A certified paramedic from Chicago is taking a trip to Honduras in about two months.
The trip won't be a vacation, but a much-needed visit to bring medical aid with the International Health Service Organization. The 17-day trip will hopefully help hundreds of needy Hondurans in need of medical attention.
Stu Schnayer will be traveling with a group of medical professionals who while be providing surgery, medical necessities and dental help to those in dire need in the area of Carataska Lagoon.
Here is what Schnayer has to say about the trip:
"I feel a duty to use my skills and advanced training to aid them. I've dedicated my life to helping those in need and feel that it is my calling to "pay it forward".
Your generous donations will help fund the supplies required for the mission, along with airfare costs and time away from work.I look forward to documenting our mission in pictures so you can see how your generosity is making a difference in the lives of others."
His GoFund me campaign has so far raised over $1,800 for the cause. Donate above to help Schnayer and the people of Honduras.
