Patrick Kane's Accuser No Longer Willing to Cooperate in Rape Investigation
"She was no longer interested in going forward," a source told The Buffalo News.

The 21-year-old New York woman who accused Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane of rape three months ago has signed an “affidavit declining prosecution,” sources tell The Buffalo News, as she no longer wants to cooperate in the investigation.
District Attorney Frank A. Sedita will confer with the lead prosecutor before deciding what to do.
The Buffalo News, which first broke the story of the accusation and investigation on Aug. 2, when police descended on Kane’s Hamburg, N.Y., home, cited five sources for word of this latest development.

The investigation of Kane, 26, got very murky in mid-September when the accuser’s mother attempted to cast doubt on the investigation by claiming an evidence bag was left on her doorstep.
