CHICAGO — Fresh from her recent dramatic debut as “Chowsie” in the Beverly Theatre Guild’s production of “Gypsy,” Pepper O’Keefe hit the red carpet at the 19th annual Smith Village Pet Parade last Friday.

Pepper, owned by Beverly resident Camilla Joe-O’Keefe, earned accolades as the parade’s tiniest dog. The Pet Parade accepted applications from off-campus neighbors as well as members of the retirement community.

Smith Village independent living residents are encouraged to bring their pet with them when they move into the community. For more information, call 773-474-7302 or visit SmithVillage.org.
