Tips For Caregivers' Well-Being Topic Of Smith Village Support Group
Caregivers of persons with dementia will learn tips and strategies for maintaining their own well-being Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Smith Village.
CHICAGO — Those caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia will explore ways to maintain and adopt healthy habits for the brain and body during the first Caregiver Support Group of 2025, Tuesday, Jan. 21. The group starts at 6:30 p.m. at Smith Village, 2320 West 113th Place, Chicago.
The goal of the group is to empower caregivers with practical strategies to nurture their health while managing their caregiving responsibilities. Participants will learn practical, easy-to-implement tips to caregivers’ ability to provide support as well as their own well-being. Even small changes can make a significant difference in the quality of life, not only for caregivers but also those they help.
The free monthly meetings, sponsored by Smith Village, provide a way for caregivers
