Traffic Resumes After Semi Flips on Dan Ryan Expressway
The accident shut down the inbound lanes for an hour Sunday morning.
Chicago, IL — The Dan Ryan Expressway was shut down for about an hour Sunday morning after a semi-tractor trailer jack-knifed and flipped onto its side, blocking all northbound lanes. The accident occurred about 8 a.m. near 63rd Street. Traffic resumed shortly after 9 a.m., according to State Police. The driver suffered minor injuries.
