Join Center of Concern at Two Free Engaging Events to Support Successful Aging
This June, the Center of Concern invites older adults to participate in two interactive Successful Aging Seminars focused on healthy habits, creativity, and community connection. These free events are open to the community with all supplies provided.
Habits for Brain Health

Friendship Park Conservatory

Join neurology nurse practitioner Melissa Budahazy, APN-BC, MA, RN-BC to explore lifestyle habits that support brain health and reduce dementia risk. Following the educational session, attendees will enjoy a hands-on cooking demonstration and lunch-making experience led by Cooking Skills & Social, featuring delicious foods that nourish both body and mind. Woodworking Workshop: Make a Napkin Holder

Tap into your creative side at this free, beginner-friendly woodworking workshop where participants will make and paint their own wooden napkin holdersβjust in time for summer picnics. Led by local craftsman Ted S., the event offers a warm, supportive space to try something new and connect with others. Please note, the workshop space is down one flight of stairs.
