Deli Boys is casting specialty rolls for new season (reelchicago.com) — Des Plaines will host multiple casino scenes for Hulu’s comedy series “Deli Boys” in early January, and producers are actively seeking local extras and experienced casino dealers. Paid background roles offer higher rates for real dealers and standard pay for other casino staff and patrons, with separate casting for Chicago-based scenes this week. Interested residents can apply online through Everyset.
   

2. Northwest Suburban Bus Routes Get Longer Hours, More Frequent Service (journal-topics.com) — Bus riders in and around Des Plaines are getting earlier, later, and more frequent Pace service, including Route 208 trips that now start before 5 a.m., run to midnight, and hit downtown Des Plaines every 30 minutes on weekdays. Other nearby routes, including 223, 290 and 606, also see added weekend and evening trips, improving connections to Rosemont, Park Ridge, Schaumburg and major job centers.
   

3. Sebastian Bach Announces 2026 North American Tour (rttnews.com) — Sebastian Bach’s 2026 tour will bring him to Des Plaines on March 13 for a show at the Des Plaines Theatre, with tickets already on sale. The rock singer’s “The Party Never Ends” tour features songs from his solo work and Skid Row days, with support from Stitched Up Heart on most dates across North America.
