New Executive Director Joins Center of Concern
Nicole Coomer looks forward to collaborating with the community to expand agency's reach and impact

The Center of Concernβs Board of Directors is proud to announce the appointment of Nicole Coomer as the new Executive Director. With an extensive professional background, Nicole brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to advance the agencyβs mission of supporting older adults, people with disabilities, and those facing housing insecurity.
The Board of Directors invites the public to an open reception to meet Nicole Coomer on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Harp and Fiddle in Park Ridge, 110 Main Street. Complimentary appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available.
Nicoleβs previous leadership roles include serving as the Executive Director for Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation and Assistant Director of Program Evaluation for the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance at Indiana State University. She holds dual Bachelor degrees in Legal Studies and Psychology from Indiana State University, a Masterβs of Healthcare Administration from University of Saint Francis, a Masterβs of Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from University of Southern Indiana, and is completing a Doctor of Business Management from George Fox University. Additionally, she has also taught as an Adjunct Instructor at Oakland City University and Vincennes University.

The Center of Concern provides comprehensive assistance through housing, community, and older adult services. All programs are designed to address critical community needs, offering resources to overcome challenges related to aging, housing insecurity, and financial instability for older adults, individuals, and families.
