The library is highlighting one Bookologist at a time. It’s February, so it’s time to meet the next Bookologist, Miss Kelly.

Kelly is a librarian assistant in the Children’s Services Department who enjoys reading memoirs, nonfiction, and books about technical art. And she looooooves movies.

From the time she learned to read, she was never NOT reading.

“Sometimes as many as three books at a time.” She agrees with the masses, “books take you places and expand your horizons.”

Some of Bookologist Kelly’s recommendations include:

  • “Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers” by Mary Roach
  • “My Foot Is Too Big for the Glass Slipper” by Gabrielle Reece
  • ”Good Mail Day: A Primer for Making Eye-Popping Postal Art” by Jennie Hinchcliff

A display in the first floor lobby also includes her favorite movies, including “Man Who Skied Down Everest,” “True Grit” and “Winter’s Bone.”
