Woodridge Police Reports: Retail Theft, DUI, Car Burglary

The following information is courtesy of the Woodridge Police Department.

A retail theft occurred at approximately 5:04 p.m. Jan. 29 at Walgreen’s, 2501 75th St. A man removed two cartons of cigarettes without paying.

A retail theft occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. Jan 30 at Jewel Osco, 2317 75th St. A man removed a bottle of vodka without paying.

A criminal defacement was reported at approximately 6:55 p.m. Feb 3 in the 7000 block of Woodward Avenue. Someone painted on the outside of a parked vehicle.

At approximately 11:48 p.m. Feb. 3, Scott Cummings, 38, 23012 Firenze Drive, Frankfort was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding following a traffic stop, 63rd Street at I355.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between 8 a.m. Feb. 1 and 2:37 p.m. on Feb. 4 in the 8100 block of Waterbury Court. Someone entered a parked car and removed miscellaneous items.
