2 Dead, 4 Wounded After Shooting At Gathering In Elgin
Police said the victims were men with injuries ranging from serious to non-life-threatening.
ELGIN, Ill. (CBS) –Two people were killed and four others were wounded in a shooting during a gathering at an apartment complex in Elgin early Sunday morning.
Police said around 1:59 a.m., officers responded to the Blackhawk Apartments in the 800 block of Congdon Avenue for a reported shooting. Officers arrived on the scene and found five people with injuries, who were then transported to area hospitals in unknown conditions.
