Annual Community Thanks and Giving Luncheon

Honoring our community volunteers and nonprofits

Thanksgiving is an ideal occasion to give thanks for our bountiful blessings. One of the cherished traditions in the community is the Annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon, bringing together business and community leaders to celebrate the spirit of gratitude and collaboration that defines the Elgin area.

A time-honored tradition, the Chamber’s Thanksgiving Luncheon marks this anticipated community holiday gathering where business and the community come together to give thanks for the many partnerships and accomplishments that strengthen our local economy and enhance the quality of life in the Elgin area.

Coordinated by the Elgin Area Chamber, the holiday buffet luncheon will be held on Tuesday, November 25, at Elgin Community College. The agenda includes 11:30 am - reception and networking; 12 noon holiday buffet luncheon; and 12:30-1 pm recognition of community volunteer presentations. Cost is $30 per person; $225 table of 8. Reservations can be made at ElginChamber.com or call the Chamber office at 847-741-5660.

During the program, the Chamber will be singing the praises of unsung heroes in our community. Local nonprofits have nominated these special volunteers for their incredible support and dedication and include:
