Bartlett Woman, 79, Dies Following July 22 Crash: Police

Bartlett police said the woman died from injuries sustained in the July 22 crash.

BARTLETT, IL β€” A Bartlett woman hospitalized following a July 22 crash died Monday, Aug. 5, according to a release from the Bartlett Police Department. Police said Barbara Creamer, 79, died from injuries she sustained in the crash.

According to the release, Creamer had been driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu when she didn't yield while turning left onto Auburn Lane from the left turn lane on northbound Route 59. Bartlett police were called to the intersection at 12:50 p.m. where Creamer's car was hit by a 1994 Acura Integra that was headed southbound on Route 59, according to the police release.

Bartlett Fire District members took Creamer to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, and died two weeks later, police said.

The driver of the Acura Integra was checked out by the Bartlett Fire District at the scene, but he refused to be taken to the hospital.
