Billy Brick's Pizza Owner's Death A 'Devastating Loss' In Elgin
Police said Frank Sibr, 49, was found dead Saturday, Aug. 3, according to news reports.
ELGIN, IL β Phil Lencioni, co-owner of Billy Brick's Wood Fire Pizza in downtown Elgin, posted a statement to Facebook Sunday thanking the community for their support the day after he announced the death of his best friend and Billy Brick's business partner, Frank Sibr. In Sunday's Facebook post, Lencioni said the family suffered a "devastating loss" with Sibr's sudden passing Saturday.
"I just want to thank family, friends and our community at large for all the beautiful comments, emails and phone calls etc. It means a great deal to all of us, and its precisely why Frank and I chose the great city of Elgin, for you beautiful and wonderful people that Frank and I have had the pleasure of serving. Also, thank you for your patience and understanding while we grieve. We hope to reopen in the very near future. Please stay tuned as we begin our next chapter. Wood fired, but family inspired, forever," Lencioni wrote.
According to the Daily Herald, the Kane County Coroner's Office said Monday the cause of death for 49-year-old Sibr hasn't been determined as the investigation continues.
