Downtown Elgin, Des Plaines Getting Craft Donuts Café Spots

The new café spots will open inside the Des Plaines Metra train station and inside the Gail Borden Public Library this summer.

ELGIN, IL — Owners of downtown West Dundee's Craft Donuts & Coffee announced last week that two new café locations are coming this summer. According to the shop's Facebook page and website, a new location is coming to the Des Plaines Metra train station at 1501 Miner Street early this summer, and another new location will open inside Gail Borden Public Library at 270 North Grove Avenue in downtown Elgin in late summer. The library location will feature extended hours and additional lunch and snack menu items for library patrons visiting later in the day, the announcements states.

Both new locations will feature donuts from the West Dundee bakery and a full coffee and espresso bar.

Applications for positions at the new Des Plaines location are now being accepted, and can be found on the Craft Donuts & Coffee website's Careers page.
