Elgin Officials To Discuss RV Parking Plan

ELGIN, IL — A measure opposed by city staff and planning and zoning commission members in Elgin surrounding a test program for motorized RVs will be discussed Wednesday by the city council, according to the Daily Herald. Elgin residents have been gathering signatures for the measure, aimed at allowing RVs under 25 feet long to park on residential driveways from now through September, the news report said.
While some residents have been pushing for the measure's approval, others believe it will affect aesthetics throughout Elgin neighborhoods, according to the Daily Herald.
