Elgin Police Investigating Prospect Blvd. Shooting
Police ask anyone with tips or evidence to reach out to the department.
ELGIN, IL — The Elgin Police Department said one person was shot and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a shooting early Sunday morning in the 800 block of Prospect Avenue. According to police, officers and detectives from the department's Gang Crimes Unit came to the area of the shooting to investigate.
Police ask anyone with information or evidence that may help with the investigation to please call 847-289-2578 or text a tip message to 847411 (please include ELGINPD at the start of the text, followed by the message to police.
