Elgin Police Seek Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect
Police are looking to identify a black male suspect accused in a June 29 armed robbery in the 500 block of N. McLean Blvd.

ELGIN, IL — The Elgin Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a weekend armed robbery incident. Just before 5 p.m. Saturday, police said the department's Major Investigation Division was at the scene of an armed robbery in the 500 block of N. McLean Blvd., where a black male suspect reportedly entered the business, showed what looked like a handgun and demanded money. According to police, the suspect is described as being 25 years old, and 6'0' with a slim build, who reportedly ran from the scene after the incident.
Police said no one was injured as a result of the reported armed robbery.
