Get Out This Summer to Support Your Community By Volunteering

Meals on Wheels Volunteer Drivers Needed

(Lombard, IL) The DuPage Senior Citizens Council (DSCC) and Kane Senior Council (KSC) are seeking volunteers to help deliver meals to older adults who are unable to shop or prepare meals for themselves. Areas in need: Bloomingdale and Glendale Heights in DuPage County, and Elgin in Kane County.

Volunteers pick up at a specified location Monday through Friday, between 10:00 am and 11:00 am, and deliver between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. Meal deliveries typically take 1–1.5 hours to complete. Volunteers choose how often they want to volunteer, one day a week, every other week, or more. It is up to you and your schedule. The DuPage Senior Citizens Council is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer-driven organization dedicated to helping seniors live with dignity.
