Search For Suspect In Updated Photos Continues: Elgin Police

Updated photos of a suspect wanted in a June 2019 have been released by Elgin police.

ELGIN, IL — The Elgin Police Department shared updated (enhanced) photos Thursday of a suspect authorities are looking for who was reportedly involved in a June 29 armed robbery. According to police, the photos pertain to a robbery in the 500 block of North McLean Blvd., and show a 25-year-old black male, 6'0" tall, with a slim build.

Police said the suspect in the photos reportedly went inside the business, showed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money before running from the building.

Police said no one was injured during the robbery, and ask anyone with information regarding this case to please call 847-289-2600, or text a tip to 847411 (and include ElginPD in the beginning of your message).
