11 Trespass At Elmhurst Business While Racing Cars: Police
In another case, a drunk customer throws a donut at someone else in a store, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving trespassing, a donut throwing, road rage, theft, a false report, a disturbance and DUIs. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Trespassing
- Police were told about several cars racing and leaving the McMaster-Carr plant at 600 N. County Line Road about 9 p.m. Saturday. The suspects were charged with trespassing. They were a 24-year-old Davenport, Iowa, man, a 25-year-old Davenport, Iowa, woman, a 25-year-old Aurora man, a 22-year-old Hinckley woman, a 21-year-old Bridgeview man, a 24-year-old Lombard man, a 21-year-old Melrose Park man, a 25-year-old Riverwoods man, a 24-year-old Des Plaines man, a 19-year-old Crystal Lake woman and a 20-year-old Northlake man.

- A drunk customer was argumentative and threw a donut at a person about 12:30 a.m. Thursday at 7-Eleven, 525 S. Spring Road. The store requested that the person be served with a no-trespass notice. The police said they plan to do so.
Road rage
- A 74-year-old Stickney man was arrested about 3 p.m. Thursday at Third and York streets on charges of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and driving a car with a suspended registration. Police said he brandished a baton in a road rage incident. He was released.
Theft

- A resident in the 200 block of Addison Avenue told police Thursday that she employed a moving company to help her move. During the move, items went missing.
- A resident in the 300 block of East Huntington Lane told police about 6 p.m. Thursday that someone had just stolen the resident's blue Electra Townie bicycle from the front porch. Officers could not find the suspect.
False report
- Police received a battery report about 4 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of North Industrial Drive. The person who called the police later confessed to making a false report. An investigation is pending.
Disturbance
- A person was causing problems about 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Extended Stay America hotel, 550 W. Grand Ave. The suspect was served with a no-trespass notice and left.
DUI
- A 64-year-old Palos Hills man was arrested about 4 p.m. Saturday at Monterey Avenue and St. Charles Road on charges of DUI (drugs), failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage and driving an uninsured car. He was taken to the police station and then released.
- A 26-year-old Bensenville man was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Grand Avenue and Lake Street on charges of DUI, having no valid driver's license, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, possession of open alcohol by a driver and failing to wear a seatbelt. He was released.
