Boss In Elmhurst Gets Worker In Trouble: Cops

ELMHURST, IL – A man told Elmhurst officers that his supervisor instructed him to burn old records Tuesday, so he did, police said.

The burning occurred about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at 200 E. Lake St., police said. That is the site of the Elmhurst Extended Care Center nursing home.

Police said they cited the employee, a 47-year-old Streamwood man, with open burning.
