Chicago Police Officer Saves Woman's Life with CPR at O'Hare Airport
The officer quickly performed CPR after the woman fell unconscious Sunday at O'Hare.
Chicago, IL - The quick actions of a Chicago police officer saved a woman’s life Feb. 21 after she collapsed suddenly at O’Hare International Airport.
The officer, who is assigned to the Airport Law Enforcement District, immediately performed CPR on the unconscious woman around 3:41 p.m. Sunday, according to the Chicago Police Department.
With the help of the officer’s chest compressions, the woman regained consciousness before an Automated External Defibrillator arrived.

The woman, a 21-year-old Chicago native, was taken to an area hospital for treatment, and she was later released, police reported.
The fast-thinking police officer has 19 years of service with the Chicago Police Department.
