Elmhurst Man Charged With Car Theft: Police
He was driving a car that was reported stolen from a rental car business in the south suburbs, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – An officer pulled over an Elmhurst man this week while he was driving a car stolen in south suburban Homewood, Elmhurst police said.
Brian H. Meyer, 53, who lives in the 300 block of North Walnut Street, was arrested on charges of felony conspiracy involving theft of a rented vehicle and driving with a suspended license, police said.
Police said the car was stolen from Enterprise Rentals in Homewood. An officer pulled over Meyer about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of East North Avenue.

Meyer was taken to the DuPage County Jail, police said.
Police said he was wanted on a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court.
