Health Care Career Transition Fair to Be Held March 3
Attendees can explore career options available within the in-demand health care industry.

Elmhurst, IL - Elmhurst College’s School for Professional Studies will host a free Health Care Career Transition Fair on March 3 where participants can learn about the many career options available in the fast-growing health-care industry, as well as the qualities employers value most when hiring health-care professionals.
The event, which will be held at Elmhurst Hospital, includes a panel discussion featuring industry specialists who will share their insights and discuss clinical and non-clinical career paths. Panelists include:

- Joe Able, director of education, Healthcare Financial Management Association
- Pamela Dunley, chief operating officer/chief nursing officer, Elmhurst Hospital
- Deonne “Dee” Dunnett, retired, Winnebago County Health Department
- Giovanna Lascco, strategic account manager, Advanced Resources
- Vince Vitali, CIO, RML Specialty Hospital
The career transition fair also will feature Elmhurst College’s Patterson Center for the Health Professions, which offers students specialized advising, workshops and internships that help them gain a competitive edge. Other resources will include the Career Transition Center of Chicago (CTC), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Advanced Resources, Elmhurst Hospital and the Elmhurst College School for Professional Studies.
The Health Care Career Transition Fair will take place Thursday, March 3, in the lower-level conference room of Elmhurst Hospital (155 E. Brush Hill Rd., East Entrance, Elmhurst).
