How Much Elmhurst D205 Leader Will Get
She leads a district of more than 8,000 students in 13 schools.

ELMHURST, IL – The Elmhurst school board last week approved a four-year contract for Superintendent Keisha Campbell, but did not publicly release what she would make.
Through a public records request, Patch received the contract a few days later.
Starting in July, Campbell will receive $283,400 under the contract. That's an 8 percent hike from what she is receiving this school year, which was $262,500.

Last school year, Campbell also got $32,728 in retirement enhancements and $58,083 in other benefits, according to Elmhurst District 205's compensation report.
The contract requires that Campbell, a York High School graduate, live in the district.

Campbell, who started in 2021, leads a school district of more than 8,000 students in 13 schools.

In Hinsdale High School District 86, Superintendent Michael Lach, who started last year, makes $255,000. Meanwhile, Lyons Township High School Superintendent Brian Waterman, who was appointed in 2021, is set to make $270,122 starting in July. Both districts have half the enrollment of Elmhurst's.
