Kicking Suspect Returns To Elmhurst Apartment Complex: Cops

In another case, an Elmhurst woman faces two domestic battery charges, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst has arrested people on charges of trespassing, domestic battery and DUI. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst arrest log:

Trespassing

  • A 49-year-old Lincolnwood woman was arrested about 9 a.m. Thursday at the Vyne on Haven apartment complex, 100 Haven Road, on a trespassing charge. On May 1, she was arrested on charges of battery and trespassing. Police said she entered Vyne on Haven, even though she had been issued a no-trespass order to stay off the property. When an employee confronted her, she kicked him several times in the foot, police said. A couple of days later, she was arrested on a criminal trespassing charge at Jewel, 153 E. Schiller St. In each instance, she was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Domestic battery

  • A 33-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 200 block of North Addison Avenue was arrested about 7 p.m. Thursday on two domestic battery charges. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

DUI

  • A 21-year-old Berwyn woman was arrested about 3:30 a.m. May 3 at Interstate 290 and St. Charles Road on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, driving an uninsured car and improper lane usage. She was taken to the police station and then released.
  • A 40-year-old Addison man was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Frontage Road and Route 83 on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured car and failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash. Police said he was involved in a single-car crash. He was taken to the police station and then released.
