Seven-year-old Christian Favia of Elmhurst took first place at the NuWay Nationals, a championship wrestling tournament held last weekend in Battlecreek, Michigan. Christian, who is a first-grader at Emerson Elementary School in Elmhurst, won the tournament in his Division 1 (age 7 and under) in the 49-pound category. This is only his first year wrestling. Christian wrestles for Gomez Academy in Carol Stream.
