Suburban Mom to Talk on Realities of Heroin at Elmhurst Bookstore

PJ Newberg will be at A Book Above Bookshop Sunday.

ELMHURST, IL — A suburban mother who founded a heroin awareness movement will appear Sunday at an Elmhurst bookstore.

PJ Newberg, the founder of Northshore Secret Heroin Problem, will be at A Book Above Bookshop at 7 p.m.

Newberg will discuss the signs and symptoms of heroin use, what parents need to know, withdrawal symptoms, the local impact of heroin, Narcan and Illinois laws.
